Would you like the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience at a prestigious theatre? Are you aged between 12 to 25 and disabled, deaf or living with a long term illness or condition?

 

We are looking for groups or individuals to perform at this year’s Young DaDaFest on Thursday 17^th July 2014. The event will take place from 6pm to 8:30pm at the Everyman Theatre. Young DaDaFest is planned and organised by our Young Peoples Leadership Group.

 

 

Our aim is develop and nurture young disabled artists by giving them a platform to perform in front of a large audience.

 

 

If you are interested you will need to apply by letting us know about your performance. DaDaFest are looking for five acts, within any of the following areas:

• Singing
• Music
• Comedy
• Magic
• Dance
• Mystery Act – we are looking for the best idea for something different – surprise us!

 

The performances will be  chosen by the Programming group the week commencing 12^th May, and the successful acts will be informed shortly afterwards.

 

The deadline for all entries is Monday 12^th May; unfortunately we cannot accept any entries after this date.

 

Entries need to include the following information:

• A film or recording which showcases your act or work. (This can be a short mobile phone film or sound recording and can be of a rehearsal, jam session or previous performance).
• Group/ Act  or your name
• Short description of what you would like to perform
• Approximate performance length (max 6 minutes)
