If you are referred to Mencap Liverpool & Sefton, a member of our small Outreach Team will come and visit you. This is to find out how we can work with you in the best way.

We can work with you around different issues that might affect your life. For example you may not feel comfortable or confident getting out and about in your local community. Or perhaps you feel a bit isolated and would like to find new things to do.  If we can’t work with you directly then we will support and signpost you to organisations that can help you.

We will also be able to put you in touch with people who can help you:

• Make new friends
• Meet new people
• Get new skills
