There’s definitely a healthy atmosphere in the Mencap Liverpool office at the moment.  Our healthy living workshops start tomorrow afternoon (they’ll be running each wednesday 1-3pm until Christmas) and the staff are eating healthier and joining the gym!

That’s because lots of us will be doing the Liverpool Santa Dash on Sunday 4th December.  We’ll be raising money for Mencap Liverpool, having fun and getting fit at the same time

The Santa Dash is a 5k (3 mile)  fun run around Liverpool City Centre- but some of us might be walking instead of running 🙂

Everyone dresses in a red Santa suit (or a blue suit if you support Everton)

Would you like to join the team?

The team will mainly be members, volunteers and a few supporters but Sarah, the Chief Exec, is dusting off her running shoes to join in too.  The more the merrier – ho ho ho!

It costs £20 to enter but we have a limited number of free places to give away.  If you promise to raise at least £30 in sponsorship for us (£50 for non-members)  Mencap Liverpool will give you one of our free places.  You also get your suit for free and you get a medal and a pair of gloves when you finish.
