Public meetings on the future of policing in Merseyside

You are invited to join Merseyside Police Authority (MPA) to discuss the future of policing in your Merseyside at a series of public events next month.

The meetings, which are being held between 1-11 August, will give you an opportunity to hear first-hand how changes in policing may affect you. The public events will also include an update on the Police and Crime Bill, and how the current financial situation affects policing and regional policing initiatives.

You will also have a chance to ask the panel any questions you may have on these issues – sitting on the panel will be MPA’s Chairperson Councillor Bill Weightman, a Merseyside representative from Association of Chief Police Officers, representation from the MPA Chief Executive’s Office, as well as other MPA Members.
