I attended the BNI Breakfast Networking Meeting with Kevin in April. it was an early start- as the meeting began at 6.30am. I was nervous to begin with but wanted to go along to see what the meeting was about and to be a support for Kevin.

Kevin introduced me to the different members, their businesses and trades and we spoke to them about what they do. I sat and watched the meeting, then helped Kevin with his presentation. People sat and listened and I spoke about what I do at Mencap Liverpool and the activities I get involved with such as Running Group and bucket collections. I got a huge round of applause after I had finished speaking which has really helped my own self confidence.

The meeting was interesting and I learnt more about the other people and their businesses. I was made to feel welcome and I would certainly go along and visit the group with Kevin again. I was glad to have been a help.
