On Tuesday 26th April 2016 I, along with about 10 other people, went to the Walton Centre to meet with Dr Wieshmann. He introduced himself and told us a bit about himself and his work. We were then free to ask him questions, which he answered to the best of his ability.

I found the session very interesting and informative. I enjoyed finding about the work that Dr Wieshmann undertakes at the Walton Centre. It was interesting to find out his views about how people with a learning disability are treated in a hospital environment.
After lunch we were introduced to another lady who works at the hospital. She was also very friendly and informative. Everybody found the day a very useful experience, and I hope to visit the Walton Centre again sometime in the future.
