It’s that time of the year again, we need a new team on Mencap Members Voice!

At Mencap Liverpool & Sefton we have a Steering Group of people called Mencap Members Voice.

Mencap Members Voice represents our members and steers the direction of the charity alongside our CEO, Sarah Jones and the Board of Trustees. The members are responsible for coming up with ideas, answering questions, voicing their opinions and representing everyone when doing so, in order to shape the future of our charity.

From today, until the 4pm on Friday 10th December we have put out a vote for the very First Chairperson of Mencap Members Voice to represent everyone.

The person with the most votes will be the Chairperson and the person who comes 2nd will be their Vice Chair and help them with their jobs. They will be Chairperson and Vice Chair for one year and will be supported by the rest of their Mencap Members Voice Team.

So, What are we looking for? What makes a good Chairperson?

We are looking for someone who is,

Committed

Someone who is good at speaking up

Someone who is good at sharing information
