Making a will / Setting up a trust for the benefit of a loved one with a learning disability

Are you worried about how your family member with a learning disability will manage financially when you are not around to support them?

You may also be keen to ensure that they continue to receive their benefits but still enjoy their full inheritance.

National Mencap have organised a series of FREE seminars for parents and carers living in the North West, in November.

These two-hour seminars will offer specialist legal advice – giving parents and carers a much-needed opportunity to get answers to those difficult questions that often make the process seem so daunting.

Each event will take place between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on the following dates:

Monday, November 21 – Warrington
Warrington Friends Meeting House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NR

Tuesday, November 22 – Blackpool
Council Chamber, Blackpool Town Hall, Talbot Road, Blackpool, FY1 1AD

Wednesday, November 23 – Macclesfield
Meeting room B, Macclesfield Library, Jordangate, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 1EE

Thursday, November 24 – Workington
The Waverley Hotel, 1 Gordon Street, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 2EN

Friday, November 25 – Bolton
Trinity Methodist Church, Tonge Old Road, Bolton, BL2 6BH

You are encouraged to book your place as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You can download a copy of the booking form by clicking Planning for future Booking Form 2011. You can also call 020 7696 6925, or email willsandtrusts@mencap.org.uk, to register your interest in attending.
