The Liverpool Idol event is being postponed to Spring time next year.

It will be at Pan Am, Albert Dock and we are open for applications from contestants wanting to take part and sing and are looking for sponsors who’d like to help us put the event on.

The 2013 event was run in partnership with Professional Liverpool, sponsored by Medicash and Jackson & Canter and hosted by Roger Phillips. It saw 7 brave contestants from the business community take to the stage and sing their socks off for charity.

So do you have an inner rock god or hidden pop star ambition? We are looking for 8 singers who want to sing their hearts out for charity in this well-loved competition. Singers, having chosen their song, receive vocal coaching prior to the competition and will rehearse with a brilliant live backing band (www.afewgoodmen.co.uk) before and on the night. For an entry donation of £500 you can put a contestant forward to represent your company! Then its up to you who will be your Liverpool Idol by coming on the night and placing your vote—who will win, you decide!

Liverpool Idol 2013 winner was Rachel Ashworth, Solicitor from Hill Dickinson and the event raised Mencap Liverpool a wonderful £10,500 – do you have what it takes to be a Liverpool Idol?!
