Let it rip: Want to be in a band?
If you have a learning disability, or care for someone who does, and they have musical talents then they could be in a band.
Let It Rip in Leeds is holding auditions to form a band for people with learning disability.
The auditions are on 16th and 17th December 2009 in Leeds at Connect in the North.
Those who make it through the auditions will be invited to attend come to nine sessions in 2010. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the music business and make a CD.
On 12th and 26th March 2010 they will have the chance to perform in front of a live audience.
You don’t need to have previous musical experience to apply, as long as you can hold a note or play a tune you can apply.
