Giving Tuesday is an international day of donating, volunteering and other forms of giving. It follows two shopping days, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and is a chance to give back to causes that are close to our hearts.

Giving Tuesday 2020 is on Tuesday, 1st December but you can make a donation at any time.

This year we wanted to take the opporunity firstly to thank Chris and his team at time54 for giving our donations page a makeover and of course redirect you to their awesome work! Their hard work means we can now accept one off donations online and people can sign up to be regular givers, which is invaluable. Thank you guys, you’ve been an absolute pleasure to work with!

How can I get involved?

• Sponsor a team who have taken part in our Virtual Santa Dash Race. Teams of people have taken part in 100 hours of physical activity this year with an aim to raise £70 each in support of our 70^th Birthday and to secure our future. • Become a Regular Giver and help secure our future as a charity. For just £7.00 we can stay in touch with over 300 people with a learning disability, most of whom are still isolating in Liverpool & Sefton or may not have access to the internet.

This year, the coronavirus crisis has been life-changing for all of us, but for too many, living in isolation wasn’t a new experience. All of our members receive little to no support, so they live alone. Zoom has helped bring us together and thanks to your support we have an increased number of people online, helping support their mental health and ensure they stay connected.
