As a small charity, we rely on the generosity of people like you to transform the lives of people with a learning disability across Liverpool & Sefton.

Fundraising can take on many forms – whether you are an individual, company, a group of friends, or a family there are many ways you can help Mencap Liverpool & Sefton and we can provide support in whichever type of fundraising suits you best:

Community fundraising

Help us to spread the word about learning disability while raising money, by doing things like street collections, bag packing in supermarkets, non school uniform days at school, holding a tea party or place a shaker tin in a local shop or pub for us.

Corporate fundraising

We work with businesses on charity of the year partnerships and those who wish to support us through their workplace via payroll giving, providing sponsorship for special events, volunteering opportunities, and workplace fundraising activities. Companies can provide one-off donations, or choose us as their charity of the year.

Legacies 

Remember us in your will and help make life better for those living with a learning disability. It does not matter what size the gift is – just 1% of your final estate could make a substantial difference to those living with a learning disability in Liverpool. Event fundraising

From a tea party to a music gig or sponsored walk along the beach we have top tips on organising your own event and ensuring everything is safe and legal.

Sporting activities

Challenge yourself physically while helping us to raise money. Whether cycling, running, walking, abseiling, or even completing an overseas challenge we will help you all the way with sponsorship packs, sport vests, and fundraising ideas to help you achieve your goal.

Regular donation

Become a regular giver and help us plan for the future at Mencap Liverpool & Sefton. Remember to gift aid your donations to maximise your gift even further.

Events
