Friday 19th June is a BIG day for Learning Disability Week 2015 for both Mencap Liverpool and National Mencap UK.
National Mencap has set local Mencap groups a few challenges during Learning Disability Week and one of them was to raise awareness of learning disability in their local community.

Mencap Liverpool has been very excited by this challenge and it ties in perfectly with our Ticket to Ride exhibition in the Museum of Liverpool. We decided to offer the training session to the community but also offer it to Merseyside’s taxi, train and bus drivers and staff because Ticket to Ride is all about peoples experiences of travel.
