Fancy a trip to the flicks? Carers and support workers go free
If you are a carer or support worker then you may be entitled to free cinema tickets, thanks to the Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) card.
CEA Cards allow a person in receipt of disability allowance to take a carer or a support worker into the cinema with them free of charge.
You can download an application form to print out and fill in.
To apply for the card you will need to submit proof showing that you meet one or more of the following criteria:
a) That you are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance or Attendance Allowance.
b) That you are a registered blind person. You will also need to supply a passport-sized photo with your application to appear on the card.
A processing fee of £5.50 is chargeable per card. This should be sent along with the completed application.
