Dance Magic, a brand new dance group for people with a learning disability, has launched in Stockbridge Village, Liverpool.

From ballroom and ballet through to hip hop, participants can learn how to dance a variety of dance styles, as well as exploring free movement and self-expression.

As well as their improving physical fitness and co-ordination, group members will develop a strong sense of well-being and self-confidence.

Classes are held every Tuesday and there is a morning session (10.30am – midday) and an afternoon session (1-2.30pm).

Led by fully qualified instructors, these dance classes are also open to the carers and families of people with a learning disability.

It costs £3 to take part (£1 for carers) and refreshments are available.
