This Saturday, 10 people (staff and volunteers) are abseiling down the side of the Anglican Cathedral to raise money for Mencap Liverpool. This is the first year that Mencap Liverpool have taken part in this event – the event is held every year and a number of different charities sign up each time. Mencap Liverpool’s group are abseiling from 10am on Saturday, so come down to watch if you would like to show your support for the brave few! We will also have a stall at the event, selling cakes and raffle tickets, so there will be plenty going on for spectators!    

If you would like to sponsor any of the people abseiling for Mencap Liverpool, you can find their fundraising pages on the Virgin Money Giving Site. Simply type in the name of the person you would like to sponsor and donate! (see the bottom of this post for a list of participant names).
