Adam’s Round the World Challenge Blog 6 – Boxing

On Wednesday 6th April 2016 the Mencap Liverpool Social Group went to the FireFit Leisure club to do some kick boxing. We started by signing in our names and then we went upstairs to meet the instructor as we did 10 minutes warm up to stretch our legs . We were then asked to pair up, we started doing shadow boxing and split into two.

We then did where some exercise boxing when one person holds the pads and the other used boxing gloves. We then did another warm up and then we split up into two teams where we named our teams and then had to hit one 2 of the pads in 20 hits. Both teams drew. It was a great experience and I would like to do more of the boxing in the future as it a great way of letting off steam and good exercise.
