Mencap Liverpool is a small local charity that supports individuals with a learning disability, their families and carers. We do not get any funding from National Mencap or from Liverpool City Council so we rely on donations from local people.
The money you donate will enable us to run social, information and campaign events for the people we support. Any donation of any size will make a massive difference to the lives of people with a learning disability in Liverpool.
There are several ways to donate to Mencap Liverpool, including:
Virgin Money – Go to www.virginmoneygiving.com and type in Mencap Liverpool as the charity then follow the links. There are several Mencap groups registered so please be sure to type in Mencap Liverpool.
Text message – You can send a text message to the number 70070 with the words MENL33 £10 (or any other amount you wish to donate). We will get 100% of the donation and the money will come directly out of your next phone bill. You can then follow a link in the reply to add gift aid.
Cash or cheque: If you email your address to us at contact@mencapliverpool.org.uk we can post donation envelopes to you. These have a gift aid declaration on the front.
Your donation will enable us to carry on our work with our members at a time when they really need us.
