Port Sunlight Summer Festival 2012 by Brian Stewart

On Saturday 25th August 2012 I attended the annual Port Sunlight Summer Festival. This started at 11am, and featured things such as a dog show, classic cars and scooters, food stalls and live music on stage. This year the festival was helping to celebrate 50 years since the Beatles first played together. A number of Beatles tribute bands appeared on stage, much to the delight of the watching crowds.
The first event I went to was the dog show. This featured several categories such as “Best Looking Dog”, “Fancy Dress” and “The Dog That The Owners Would Like To Take Home”. This made a lot of people smile and the good weather helped to set the good mood of the day.
One of my favourite parts of the show was seeing the classic cars and scooters they had on display. This was a good opportunity for me to take photographs of them, and admire the vehicles. I also enjoyed walking around the different stalls and seeing the things they had for sale. I really enjoyed the day and hope to go to the show next year.

    Our cute pets require enough nutrition. The dog food that are sold today contain lots of vitamins and minerals that are essential to the dog’s needs.
